Telecommunications Work In Mauritius

Hi all,

I am based in the UK and have been looking at telecommunications/other, work opportunities in Mauritius.

Problem is, the job that I do is pretty specialised. I test the quality of mobile RF networks or I work as a field test engineer testing mobile handsets on live networks.

I assume that there's only one mobile operator on the island.

I wondered if there are any good technical agencies that might find use for my skills in another capacity.

Thanks Kurt, I will let you know. As A UK citizen and British passport holder, do I need a work permit for Mauritius?

Chris, you should definitely have a look to the participative Mauritius expat guide, in particular the visas section

Kurt, maybe you could post more information directly on the forum, or add an article in the guide ?
