I think it's time to organize the next Expat.com meet up !

Would you prefer to meet on a beach during the week end or would you prefer an afterwork drink on a Friday ?

Well, if you could make it after November 17th it would be great, since we're landing in Mauritius then. Any day is good for us, doesn't matter where.

Hey Zenia,

I am in the Uk for New Year, with my family, as I am sure a lot of the expat community will be. But will be arriving in early 2012.

I wish I could be on the beach for christmas. Especially Flic en Flac.

Look forward to meeting some people when i arrive.

Why not have both.. a casual friday after work meet up and then the following weekend (or the same weekend) have a beach BBQ, this way people with families and kids could join too.

Julien, wakey wakey, is there is a DATE set? is it going to be in November?

Hey guys!

For those that were really hoping a plan would be made for this weekend I would like to invite you to come along this Saturday (19th Nov) starting 5.30pm at Plage de Mon Choisy.

It was my partner's birthday two weeks ago so this is a little get together to celebrate, mingle and meet more people (we've extended the invite to COuchSurfing crowd as well). THe idea is to get together for sunset, BBQ and camp (if you want) for anything you want to celebrate, Mauritian style! Hope to see you there

So what is the latest regarding the expat get together Julien?
I think the beach like in Flic en Flac last time on a Saturday would be great. Easier to mingle around than drinks at a bar.

A bar like suffren will be better, in the middle for everybody, people up north will not show up at flic en flac and people in the south wont show up at mont choisy
