How can I make life more enjoyable in this boring country?

Hi, I've been considering relocating from RSA to Mauritius but this very issue has been plaguing me.

***I think, in my opinion, the island can feel confining if you dont have a long history of friends and family in the island.  It helped us a lot to join SPARC outside of Flic n FLAC to start to get to know people.  Yes, lots are expats, but lots of locals are on staff and we made some fun contacts.

I, personally would love to feel bored 😃  Between work, errands, household chores and all the little things life throws at me, there’s always something that needs doing. I barely have enough hours in the day as it is.  I also joined the gym years ago (not that I like it but keeping fit is important).

So some things to do might be joining the gym, or a hiking club. There's mingle Mauritius where you can sip* and paint (if you like that) 😉
