Retirement Permit Application - dependant application

Hello everyone,

I am currently in the process of applying for a Retirement Permit for Mauritius. I have just submitted my application and paid the USD 50 fee. The application is still under review, but I have already received an Application Reference Number (EDB_OP_2026_xxxx).

I would now like to apply for dependant permits for my wife and child. However, on the EDB platform, I am asked to provide a UID and an Occupation Permit Number.

Are these two numbers only issued after the main application has been approved, or should they already be available at this stage?

Wait till you get your permit and UID in hand.

That will make life easier. Also you should have a bank account by then and money in the account for payments.
