Beware of scammer

Hello all,

Yesterday I post an ad in Classified. The same evening I received a message (as below) from a banned account, saying that my account has been blocked that I needed to identify myself to release the account. Thank you Microsoft Defender blocked the link in that message. So I didn't fall into the scam.

Upon checking I noticed that the person who sent the message is from a banned account. That puzzled me how a banned account send private message through this site. I'm afraid admin/moderators need to react quickly to mend this loophole. Also, subscribers of this forum need to pay attention when receiving pm regarding the account being blocked.

As mentioned in the private message, thank you again for bringing this to our attention. I understand your concern, and it seems that the member was able to send messages to other members, which may have been the reason their account was banned.

I can guarantee that, so far, our security system has been working properly, but I will still inform the IT team about this situation so they can review it and ensure there are no loopholes.

We encourage all members to remain cautious when receiving messages about account issues, especially when they contain a link.
