club which foreigners can use - 1-3 year temporary stay

Hello!
My friends want to be members of any club while they stay here. They will stay in Zamalek, Dokki, Mohandeseen, or Maadi or Heliopolis for 1-3 years.
When they were in their homeland, they cans find many comfitable public facilities where they can meet people or read books in quiet atmosphere under trees.
Here, we have to join any club (naady)to enjoy such comfortableness in green.
Would you recommend any naady where foreigners can get membership?

Hi
if you enquire at most of the clubs - they allow foriegners to join on a monthly / yearly fee basis, obviously it depends on how much you wish to pay.

Naady is in Arabic Language, means Club.

There is the Gezira sporting club in Zamalek.

some people also join the marriott, to use their pool and gym.

well, there are clubs for foriegners.
BCA - Mohandseen, Heliopolis and Maadi
ACE Club - Maadi.
both clubs are only for foriegn passport holders. nice places to meet foriegn people, to drink and eat, to read and some games too...
