Hello everyone.
I've been in Mauritius a bit and I've noticed that beach sport activities are not very common (in the North).
I'd like to play or even start a club for people to play these sports, but I am not sure if there is any interest in such a thing by the locals or even the expats.
Do people like or want to play beach sports like volleyball, beach soccer or beach tennis?

I've seen and watched a couple of matches at Flic en Flac in Summer. Haven't been to the beach since quite some time unfortunately.
Starting a club seems to be a good idea. Let's see who joins in from Expat.com

I've asked a few Mauritian friends and they don't even know what volleyball is 
I am surprised because volleyball is usually popular on holiday islands similar to Mauritius.
Oh that's a shame ! There's even a beach Arena at Blue Bay Beach with all infrastructure to play volleyball/football etc
