Is there a website where I can keep up to date on current roadblocks? I need to drive across the country and would like to know where I might get held up.

@Lee2022 I believe Waze and also Google maps show traffic jams, which in this situation probably means a roadblock. Things can change from moment to moment, but I've heard travel very early in the morning has a better chance of going smoothly.

@kristc99 Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure Google Maps shows the blocks. I sat for 6 hours a few days ago. I hope to avoid this later this week. I'll also take a look at Waze.

@Lee2022 All I know is second hand, so I'm not sure either. My google maps right now shows a bunch of problem spots but who knows exactly what that means. 6 hours. Ugh. We'll all be happy when this is resolved. Good luck!

I usually rely on Twitter for the latest news. Specifically to traffic and road issues https://twitter.com/TraficoCPanama and here's a Twitter list I'm keeping up tp date with a number of Panama news related sources https://twitter.com/i/lists/1231631993537998848

Hi Lee,
The local Waze app is up to date with road blocks and will direct you through the least congested or blocked areas.
