I have received a job offer from the same organisation- @Faiza Maqbool
@Randomguy2000Any further updates??- @Nitika chandel
Company is a scam. They are not paying much for English teachers in Turkey now. So right away the salary says its a scam.
Other people said they wanted them to pay a deposit, or pay processing fees.
Also all their private information is hidden on their website which means they don't even want anyone to know who is the owner of the website or who made it, etc.
- The ip adress proves that the email was sent from U. S
- The code of Turkey is not +905 but +90
- The website has some inactive pages
- The salaries and benefits stated are unrealistic... They offered me a new car, new phone, new desktop... Plus 10,000 usd yearly for furniture... Haha. They even mentioned that every week if receive 500 usd extra for upkeep.
@pearlchelsea48 I am in the same situation. Confused as hell. I ran the details of the agency and no response came up
I am to pay $1360
@uterclaudia Employer should pay if they want you. life can be simple.
what will you check with the embassy?
how can they know abt an offer of a company?
@olgagutierrez983 sad girlfriend but there are scammers. I responded to the persons emailing me that they will hear from immigration and the stopped calling and sending emails.
@olgagutierrez983 Just ask why they want you? Take them along and spend their time. For you hobby perhaps, also for a future real job and reference.
Are you good, young no worry where ever you live. What is the reason to go to Turkey?
@olgagutierrez983 No response after telling them that the consulate will get in touch with them. Scammers
they jıust dont want to waste their time with you, dont think that they are scared. they are not located even in turkey. although they were, consulate has had nothing to do.
I just want to find out if this is legitimate as i received an offer which sound like scam

@chinicsenkelly
I got the same offer from a different institution, I was also redirected to an agency to pay for the processing of the foreigner worker’s certificate. No interview was conducted and it is quite fishy.
@kgosisdumedi1 The email I got is almost the same as this, the only differences are the address and the name of the third party to whom I am going to give the payment for the foreigner worker’s certificate (FWC).
How I’d love this ESL teacher offer to be true:

- 3-bedroom flat/duplex; laundry service; laptop/desktop; any dietary preferences/customized cooks (?); and a phone…..ALL PROVIDED BY THE EMPLOYER!
….for a run of the mill ESL teacher at A****** International School in Istanbul

What’s the old saying? If something looks too good to be true, it probably is!!!
…..but how I so much want to believe its genuine!

…and all I have to do is to pay for the Foreign Worker’s Certificate (FWC)
@ottoh1961 hahahaha! same scam offer by the same scam school! Then they will ask you to pay 1450 USD for the processing of Turkish foreigner working certification.
Here's what they've asked me to pay!
Also, you are further requested to send us below requirements for the completion of your Turkish foreigner working certification.
1. Filled expat registration form
2. Application fee of USD 1,390
3. Courier fee of USD 100
Total amount: USD 1,490
Thank you for that invaluable (….well, actually, $1,490 worth of…) reassurance.
Following on from surprisingly generous offers as a “Personal English Tutor” for two different - but remarkably similar circumstances and remuneration - professionals and their families, as well as the position of ”online language assessment teacher” fir a Japanese company (…where the customs duties had to be paid in my laptop, company debit card and printer the same day or I’d miss that years training!), your sobering information removes any lingering doubts i may have had.
They say love is blind. In such scams its the love of money, pure and simple - and manipulative, ruthless scammers exploiting that weakness.
