It depends which nationality is the father; if he is from a well respected country ; you can report this to embassy to deal with situation; as the kid will deserve at least a well respected nationality with some support. I understand that  the father didn't offer marriage as it is illegal to get pregnant out of marriage ; this is the reason you travel abroad. If the embassy of the baby father doesn't deal with such situation and turn you back cause they are not interested to help ; you need to find a proper legal advice which can be provided by several non profit organizations that protect woman rights. Hope that will help .

Does the father of your baby knows that you got pregnant? Did you discuss it with him? You can file a case if he denied it and if that happens you need to have proof that the child is his. Is he single or married? Coz it will cause a big problem to him specially if he is Muslim and have wife and kids already. As for me I think you need to talk to him privately first and discuss the situation. If he care about you and respect you he will give financial support and will help you take care of the child. If he did not cooperate then you can ask your embassy to help you file a case against him. There's a law that the father should provide financial support to his child. Even in your home country you can file a case and the government will talk to your embassy in Oman to help you.
