Update on Noc

Hi,

There is no obtain to changing work visa to family visa , because these are entirely different. Work visa was issued on the request of your company hence the option available is to cancel that visa (final exit) & come back on family visa even on next day. Because 02 years ban is not applicable for those who do proper final exit and cancel their visa.

Hi Asif,  Are you really sure about it? 2 years back when I switched from work to family, noc was required and my old employer has provided me both work noc as well as noc for family Visa.

The NOC rule have been changed , hence once you complete a contract, you dont need NOC to switch to new employer. Further you can contact ROP Visa information desk and confirm.

There is still no clarity on switching jobs. NOC is removed only for name sake. Now they need visa transfer approval from existing  employer. And if u try to exit and come back again and ur previous visa was not cancelled u will be blocked in ROP system. It is very confusing. They are only playing around.

In fact it was told NoC is removed but technically no. Many companies are denying to give NoC after getting job also due to NoC people are leaving. At least in this pandemic period it is better to remove NoC totally
