Hello,
I want to know if there is anyway to get permission from the current employer for transfer to new employer, if he is unwilling.

I mean some valid reason to be given by him for not accepting the request.

What can I do if I go for exit request and if approved then, can I cancel the exit by myself if found a new employer.?

Thanks

Allain Isidro

do you finished your contract ? if yes then he has no right to object nor to deny your plan to transfer with another company, just send him formal email as notice then your new company should do the request online, you should register in qiwa.com so that you can accept the new contract.

I had an employment contract only at the time of joining my job 7 years ago.
Not renewed or perhaps just continuing the same one now.
All it comes down to Iqama Expiry which is on Aug 30, I think.

If I resign to my job I will get my ESB amount. But is it possible that if the employer refuses for transfer, after resigning and applying for exit, can I still join the new employer.

this is the exact problem for the "unlimited contract". as for what i understand, the moment you agree to "automatically" renew your contract, the employer wins.... they are holding the employees in the neck.

what ever you request or anything related that will not be in the interest of the employer, they will make sure that the employee will have a hard time...

In my contract it is mentioned that after finishing fixed period of 2 years liable to renew formally between the two parties.

I didn't sign any new document related to any contractual matter.

Then it belongs to the category of fixed period, if iam right.

So as soon as my Iqama is expired after giving notice to the company in advance I should be eligible for transfer to the new employer

you are in the category of "unlimited contract" my friend. as what you have said you only sign a contract once. the rest of the years are continuous.

you can only say that your contract is "fixed term" if you finish the first contract and then sign another new contract.

as for the expiration of iqama, the moment it is expired, you cannot make any transfer procedure. it is mentioned on the list related to the new law.
