Can anyone recommend a mortgage advisor/specialist that can help us purchase a property in Italy? We are happy to look at either an italian mortgage or a UK mortgage but are struggling to find anyone who can get the process moving.

I just read your post, but maybe too late.
Have you found someone who helped you with your mortgage application?
We usually suggest to our clients to speak with the bank where they wish to open their bank account, or we eventually assist them by looking for a specialist in the area where they wish to buy their property.

Yes, best thing is to ask a bank, some of them can be helpful, if you need some advices, especially in Florence - but not only - just let me know
