My husband is a British Citizen. If he works and lives in Ireland, what are my options as a South African in terms of living and work permits. The information I have is very conflicting and it seems there have been rule changes. The official website is confusing as to what my options or procedures would be.

I can tell you what the rules were, but these are now under review after the consequences of Brexit, so anything I say will almost certainly be misleading you. The latest information is on the Irish Government website; this link will take you there.
My advice is to keep an eye on the Irish Government website for them to update this, there is also a contact link on the Irish Government website I've given you.
