Hi Guys,

I am moving to Riyadh this September and will be based in Olay / Hamad Tower for work.

I want some advise on housing.. I am looking to spend about 6k a month max for 2-3 bed apartment.

Can someone advise on any nice furnished apartments or compounds which are a short distance from work or based in Olaya.

I am from the UK and want something safe and secure (Doesnt have to be a compound) as my wife will be joining me soon.

Nice to meet you here, I'm from UK too and moving to Riyadh with husband soon. I will be moving with my 3 children as well, so looking for a nice location close to amnesties , well maintained, safe , child friendly and closed to British School. Happy to follow your thread.

You can check in and around Suleimaniyah which is close to your work place and has amenities around. Basically Olaya is the city center and Suleimaniyah is close to it.

Also, RIyadh is a safe city. There is nothing to worry about.

Thanks guys! My company has recommended some compounds but they seem very pricey 100k a year!...

Has anyone heard of Akaria Compound - seems very central?
