Planning of getting Married in Bahrain

Hiya all,

I'm working here in Bahrain for 5 years, My British fiance and I are planning to get married here. Is anyone could help me what are the important requirements should we prepare? We read on other site that planning to get married in Bahrain the couple should live 21 days in Bahrain? I was confused with this.. bcuz my fiancé can't leave work for 21 days in the UK. Is this necessary or not? Thanks in advance x

I have already answered on quite a few. You need to be resident and need to get proof of single status / divorced from your embassies. Then perform a ceremony in a church and register it at MOJ.
