Hi. I am in the process of buying a second hand car in Brittany and dealer's prices are quite high. I wondered about looking at private sellers but, having no mechanical knowledge, I would like to find out if there is an equivalent in France of the service that the RAC offers, whereby they will check a car over for you, before you make that fateful decision?
Any advice gratefully received!
