How hard is it for an American to buy property and live in italy? Looking to retire in a few years and ready to take the plunge at expat living.

To people asking, yes you are entitled to get a "residenza elettiva" , alike in others countries.

Is it easy to get an house? It take time! But it's not that difficult.

Where to look, usually real estate are authorized thief, this is the common thought in Italy.
