Hi do you know if it's a problem to sub-let a room out? e.g. if I rent a 2 or 3 bed apartment and want to rent out one of the bedrooms, is that a problem for the agency/owner?
Or does it all just depend on the agency/owner. I've asked a couple of agencies today so waiting for their reply.

You can but you need the landlord's written consent. If you do this without the written consent, it is illegal and you will be fined as well as evicted. Secondly, also keep in mind that some areas are deemed as family accommodation by the municipality which means that you cannot sub-let and live as bachelors.
