Hello, Priscilla,
I moved to Prague 1 month ago and I am currently seeking for a job. For the moment I collaborate with a recruitment agency (Grafton) and one girl from there is very nice and helpful. They do not ask for money, since the companies that are looking for people to employ will pay them and so far I had a nice experience. I had a phone interview where I explained what I do and what I am looking for and she proposed already two roles in two different companies from Prague.
For an expat that is good in foreign languages I believe that international companies can save you this time, because usually they search for English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Russian speakers. http://www.toplanguagejobs.co.uk/search … ds-prague/    = a website specialized in this .
But I also started to search by myself and I have found this:
- http://www.gisportal.cz/tagy/pracovni-nabidka/  - if you are a GIS (Geographical Information System) user

- indeed.com

- https://gastrojobs.cz/cs/stranky/pro-uchazece/   = the largest and the longest working Czech portal in the gastronomy, hotel and tourism industry.

- https://www.fajn-brigady.cz/  = for part-time or payed by the hour jobs.

I did not answer completely to your questions, but I hope that my website rec. can help you make an opinion about what you can find here and about what is on demand.

Cheers;)

Hi,

I am in Prague for the last one and a half year. I am not working at the moment as I have a baby to look after but as per my observation, it's easy to get IT jobs as few of my daughter's friend's mums are working in IT department. You can work from home as well in the same job sector.
Secondly teaching jobs in International schools have a lot of expat teachers. They do not require to speak czech. Many American and English teachers I have met here. But yes, they do prefer native english speakers but still if you speak good english and have teaching ecperience, this is the field for you.
I have shared my observation as I have never tried to get a job. My husband works for Amazon and he doesn't speak a single word of czech but he is at senior level and they communicate in English. Hope my reply is helpful. All the best to the job seekers.
