I use a couple of learn Croatian language apps, Hrvatski & Mondly ... both have the basic stuff & easy to use.
I'm still at the stage where I convert Kuna prices into Sterling, so my XE Currency app gets a pounding, it converts multiple currencies too.
My most used app is simply the “maps” app on my iPhone, without it I'd be lost ... literally!! I have multiple pins dropped in places I want to go to & it's never failed me yet, even the one way streets around Split are easily navigated
