sir, my uncle went oman with a plumber visa, but employer employed them as a fisherman. I found there contract detailes from government website of oman his salary noted as 60 OR but they paying him as per share of crew member after deducting the trip cost, when he asking for come back home employer demandsed 300 OR khesarah. my question is whether he can come back to India without paying any money to there employer or find another job in oman. how he can get help from any authority like labour welfare, or labour union

Your uncle should consult Ministry of manpower or the embassy of his residence country and seek help. This topic has been discussed several times in this forum now.

I wonder how many people are being affected with idiot sponsors there in Oman.
