Hello. I'm currently living in the US but I would love to teach English in Ghana and eventually transition into moving there permanently. Is there a high demand for this type of work?

Hi tlsan,

Welcome on board  :)

This new thread has been created from your post on the Ghana forum so that you may get some responses easily. In the meantime, maybe you could drop an advert in the Jobs in Ghana section of the website to see if you get any offer.

All the best,
Bhavna

It depends on what your qualifications and experience are also what your expectations are. If you can get a job at an international school you will benefit from a package and a salary in dollars. If you are employed locally you will only get a salary in cedis with no benefits and that won't be very much.
