hi,
I am just in the process of applying for my working visa and i intend on working for 6 months in sydney. I am doing this alone and i just wondered if anyone else has done this? i am 27 years old and i am nervous about meeting new friends as i dont want to be alone and bored over there.

any stories or advice would be really appreciated.

You will get a glimpse of how expats live over there in Sydney in the Blogs from expats in Sydney section of the website. I suggest you go through some of them.
