I am a contractor who is being sent to dammam for 30 days to perform maintenance at a power plant. I will be flying into dammam. My question is related to myself bringing my e cig along with me as well as how the country inspects laptops and portable media. What should I expect, is e liquid legal there, e cigs? I know porn is illegal but with over 3k pictures on my laptop and cell, I don't want them to consider a family outing here at the pool as porn, I'm pretty scared of the whole ordeal as I don't want my things confiscated.

Hey, take a chill pill. Those are just your inhibitions. Nothing like that happens on a normal day. And pics or normal movies are no way any issues !! Stay away from porn and carrying any religious stuff with you, rest all would be fine.

Cheers !!

You have to put your e cig in your checked in luggage anyway. They are fine at the airport, don't worry

Bro, what you been hearing from other people is BS. No one's checking your laptop unless they have been tipped of you being a Mossad agent.

Thanks so much,
I have been reading things online for the past few days, I'm headed to the Qurayyah IPP power plant, i don't know if anyone here has any experience or insight as to what's going on there but I'm scheduled to be there for 30 days. I'm glad i joined up here to get the scoop. So i'll be fine bringing my laptop and cell phone? And when i leave from Atlanta my e-cig won't be in my checked baggage, it will be with me as a carry on item. i have no issues here in the states doing that but I'm just wondering about coming from dubai to dammam. do they know what they are over there? it's not the pen style, it's the actual mod box style. i just don't want any confusion and next thing i'm in deep S**t.
