Receiving courier deliveries to Riyadh on visitors visa

Hi, can anyone help me with this.  I am told if you have an iquama you can easily receive post / courier deliveries in Riyadh but if you are on a visa (i.e. not a resident) goods will not be delivered without proof of an iquama.  Is this true?  I need to receive my course work for my studies from the UK but am not sure if it will be a wasted effort?

Courier services do not require an Iqama. Passport will do for identification

That's excellent news - thanks Musicman, I can do my OU course now!:)

Yes, it's amazing where these scurrilous stories of needing an Iqama for this or that come from...it really is.

Good luck with your Open University course.
