Nice neighbourhoods in Riyadh

Hi all,

I will be moving very soon to Riyadh and I am checking where to live. At the moment I work in Olayya, but I would really love to live in a more quite neighbourhood. So I was wondering where the neighbourhoods are with newer, bigger, more beautiful houses.

I would like to live in a small villa or some kind of duplex. As long as I don't have neighbours above or underneath me. Anyone that can tell me where to look for such houses and/or neighbourhoods?

Your best bet is compounds, they have all amenities and is very private and secure. My favorite is Albustan Village.

Thanks Abbeymae for your message. But I personally don't want to live in a compound. I would rather live among the locals as I also want to finetune my Arabic. And besides that, with the same amount that you would pay in a compound you could find a similar villa for half the price outside a compound.
