Shipping a car from Malta to Canada

Hi,

I posted this in the car section but was refereed to this section instead...

I am looking to ship a classic vehicle from Malta to Halifax, Canada within the next few weeks. Does anyone have some info on a good shipping company and/or a broker who could take car of this?

I am not currently in Malta but I have a friend who will be in possession of the car for me (can drop it to the port etc.).

Try Thompsons moving http://www.thompsonsmoving.ca/index.php?id=87
They are based in Halifax, NS but have operations throughout Canada. I used them for moving houses (only recently) but not for international and certainly not for moving a car.

They claim in their website that they do provide international moving services. Why don't you check them out and ask them more about that service.

I will be sure to contact them. There are quite a lot of excellent shipping companies in Canada but lining them up logistically with a port in Malta is proving to be quite problematic.
