Hi everyone,

I would like to know if Ukrainian students with economic problems can receive help (money) from the state/government. Especially if they have no family.

1) Do they receive an allowance/benefit?

2) If so, how much money do they get every month? Until what age?

3) Are they given an apartment where to live for free?

Hi,

Ukrainian students with no family get no money. However, you can get a scholarship, so you don't have to pay for your education. Also, they get some monthly payments just like all Ukrainian students that have scholarships. Though students with no family will get much more. Maybe even twice more. Also, when you try to enter a university, your passing score is not that much scrutinized and considered when you apply. So it's easier to get a scholarship if you are an orphan. The government will support the student until the age of 25 (if I'm not mistaken). Though they have to study. If you get a job, you won't get a penny from the government.  Hope this answers your question.
