emigrating from australia to hungary, need advice please.

Hi there, im an australian citizen and me and my boyfriend (who is English) are looking at buying a property in Hungary, just wondering if its possible for me to live there or what sort of visa i could get, or will it not be possible at all. The information is difficult to come by, so any help would be great, Thankyou.

I am also an Aussie
But I got a Hungarian passport based on my dad being born in Hungary
Grandparents are also good enough I believe
Do you have Hungarian roots
I have a flat in Budapest and go there few times a year
Why don't you travel as a on going tourist ?
Leave and come back every 6 months ?

Hi Jimmy,

you could come to study or work or tourist.. buying a flat in Hungary is a good deal at the moment, prices are quite reasonable with quality in the capital.
