Yeah am also in same boat, Since I am local hired I personally went and met them but answer is same.

And also no any vacancy publish on after the Nov 2015,and heard about bad news about 1000 staff were laid off from HMC.

and me also already resigned based on their last confirmation.

But now I have a serious doubt about further proces's.

Plz update the blog is anyone have good news about the recruitment process.

I want to share my own expirience regarding IBM and HMC , I was contacted (Feb 2015) by IBM for a job in HMC; everything is in smooth process (education doc, passport, COE , medical , Prometric exam, Dataflow, etc). I have completed all my documents required (authenticated doc from the Embassy of Qatar). They gave my visa last August and they told me not to resign bcoz they need to finish all the papers that are needed for me to get onboard. After which, they emailed me that i will have my new contact person (based on the email they are from the HR of HMC). This happened 3 times, i.e., a succession of 3 different contact persons. I kept asking for updates but until now they can't give a direct answer regarding my onboarding status. My visa expired last Jan 31, 2016 but they assured me that they will renew it, yet there is no update on my onboarding. On my last email i ask them if im  still actively considered, then up to this time i havent received any renponse from them. Will i still wait for them or should i consider to move on? Thanks for any advise.

I'm a pharmacist and already signed my offer letter sense last December 2015,
and not receiving any reply from them regarding the finish of my credentialing process !!

Really it takes too long time !!

So, after the oil goes down, anyone knows is their a chance to get work in HMC or not?
It would be easy for me if they just said sorry we can't hire you! because we're breakdown, rather than just keeping silence and didn't reply to my emails !!!

Totally understand how you feel PharmD having no response is really frustrating. No idea if they ever will response do we just give up or carry on waiting. I actually don't mind waiting if there is hope of joining.

For those who signed in December, did you start working in HMC? or not yet?
To know are all applicants in a suspended state or not !

In my case, i havent received any news from them since December. Of course, as many of you, i wrote them some emails without receiving any answer.
I have already sent all the docs stapped by the embassy. I was just waiting for the visa.

It Means the Hiring Process is completely stopped. Her Advice was not to wait just look for another opportunity.

I was to get married last year before my boyfriend leaves abroad, but we decided not to because it was written in the offer letter that I am not allowed to get pregnant atleast 1 yeat after I got hired. Now all the sacrifices for nothing?

got received the offer letter last sept 2015 and never heard from HMC then last march 2016 they contacted me and to start mh on boarding process...done with all the stuff (prometric,dataflow and licensing)finally they emailed me for my visa last week and asked there consideration if i can still join till my contract ends since as per hospital policy where i worked now only 33% of my gratuity they will pay since i will resign...my questions are:
1.am i allowed to enter to qatar without passing by the POEA?
2.are visas can be extended?

Hi,welcome to Doha
That means that they will provide you with a place where you can stay.
In other words it means that your offer including the housing.
However,it is my advice to ask them before you come what type of accommodation they are offering you.

You cannot leave Philippines without this documents even you have a valid visa. And must be registered to OWWA (Overseas  Welfare Administration) before you leave Philippines. Its a Single Entry Employment valid Visa

I am at on boarding stage, I got my offer letter from HMC through IBM Consultancy in August 2015, Since that time i am waiting for my further process, recently HMC Posted many new vacancies at their website including mine position also. so is it worth full for me to wait more or shall i leave it, since that time it is like someone harassing me, i am unable to plan anything during this time. i am regularly trying to contact through email addresses provided by IBM, but never ever i received any reply from HMC, I don't understand there working attitude, I spend around 500 USD to prepare my on boarding stage documents (will they return my money), it is okay for me to just say that we are not going further with your profile, so I can be relaxed.

Please suggest... (Sorry for troubling You)

my advice would be go on with your life, 1.Hmc contacted me last June an enquired if am still available for the position recruited for... for they will be revisiting by late year that's means from DEC
2.if you are working don't resign if you are in Qatar the best thing would be for you to exit and Hmc send u a visa then sort urself with ticket if u were a local hire, if oversees wait till everything  is completed...

I am new to this forum and have seriously some concerns. I am writing on my behalf of my wife who has been selected with PHCC.

She was selected in May 2015 for Nurse and we didnt hear anything from phcc for 1 year. After 1 year ( January 2016) PHCC informed all recruitments r on hold. So my wife took her passport back from agent and changed her passport( Maiden name) to a new one with a new name( after marriage).

Well last month PHCC informed Hiring has been restarted and she was issued a visa but on her OLD NAME. Now we are in a fix, new passport but old name on visa. Will she be allowed to enter and work in qatar. If not how do we change it.

Any reply will be highly appreciated.
