Work Experience in Nigeria is un countable ?????????

Dear ppl

I heard , the work experience in Nigeria is not countable other than africa. Is it so...

if a person works 10 years in nigeria, he will be considered as fresher in US or UK...

Is this true??

i worked there for 6 months,and i am counting it putting it in my CV.Never heard someone says that does not count better to check up to date safety and political stability,rather than that.whatever you do, for sure you will add more experience and you can prove it during interviews,right?
