Hi, Im from Singapore and have been in Perth close to a year.

I have been looking for jobs non stop and has been depressing thus far. Have been to numerous agencies but nothing yet. Anyone care to share or give tips on getting a job? Was working as Legal Secretary in Singapore and looking for any admin/office jobs available.

Would love to make new friends too...

I have no idea! Been sending hundreds of resume and been to a few interviews and it's depressing to get rejected over and over again. Maybe it's because I'm a migrant. And some even say they prefer Australian Citizens.

Hi, I think you need to look for jobs in newspapers too not only online, and you may need to modify your resume to the job somehow, i am here for almost 2 years and moved between several jobs, also try to have cert iv or so in your work field, and needless to say you should build a network too, hope these advices helps, regards
