I am a Civil Engineer by profession, with 8+ years of working experience in different fields
from Drainage, Irrigation, & Dams; was a Project Engineer in a Private contractor to a Civil Engineer in a Consultancy Firm (Locally) ; and presently working on a construction company in Saudi Arabia for 3 years and counting.

But! I really like to transition to an OIL and Gas company if there is any, I have chosen Perth, because I have relatives there in Westminster, Western Australia .

First thing to do is find out if you qualify for a visa and if so what type of visa

For visa www.immi.gov.au
For jobs www.seek.com.au
For cost of living www.numbeo.com

Unemployment is on the rise here so jobs becoming much harder to find, even for locals.
Cost of living is high too as are taxes.

You also need to apply for membership with Engineers Australia by applying using the CDR method
