thinking for a proposal for Lagos

I have been offered a job in Lagos.. And I would like to know how safe it is to work there. I have been reading positives and negatives about the place. it would be really helpful if I cud talk to some of the expats staying there. How much is a good amount for one to stay safe and secure.

please help and respond fast as I have to take some quick decision.
