Ok, had a phonecall this morning from Hubby and told me we could have a possibility now of living in Khobar with a couple of trips a week to Riyadh or vice versa. So I throw it out there, husband, wife three school children, one baby and one dog. Riyadh or Khobar? Go!!! xxx

Khobar
why because
- it is a lot less conservative than Riyadh.
- there is a large expat community
- there is unspoiled beach (okay you cant sunbath but a nice beach bbq is enticing)
- should you wish to visit Bahrain, its just a trip over the causeway
