Does anyone know of bars that sell German Weiss beer? I'm aware of Taps and Balan as alternatives to Efes and down in Antalya a couple of places we're selling a bottled German beer that I don't recall the name of. However, I've not come across any in Istanbul.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated : )

Big markets such as "Migros stores" sell beers from a wide range of variety... I'm sure you can find a few German brands too if you go to one which is big enough...
