Single Women who live out of a compound?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone does this and whether or not it would be OK? As a single woman who is working and spending weekends out of Riyadh would it be OK to live outside a compound?

What are the benefits of living in a compound VS out of a compound?

Living in a compound is far more secure than living out of the compound..

Women are not allowed to live here alone,they cant really rent a house,however,you can stay at Hotels or rent a furnished apartment on daily or monthly bases....that's it!

Friendly environment
Activities to do
Safe (if you have a Muslims phobia )

Benefits of living outside of a compound :
Much much cheaper!
You get to meet new people from all around the world
Live the Arab life style

Don't listen to people who say its not safe
I don't live in a compound and all of my friends don't too
And I'm still living I also have great neighbors.
