Hey, how are you?
I can recommend a consulting company called *** They helped me choose universities, helped me with admissions and much more. The good thing is that the mentors are young and almost recent graduates. They are like the voice of experience and know what to do and what not to do. Look for them and they will help you a lot.
Hi, Ella!
Most universities in Canada offer bachelor and master programmes in Finance. It really depends on your personal preferences where to go. My alma mater is McMaster University in Hamilton and I got many job offers with big and small firms after finishing my studies although it is not one of the elite universities.
The cost of living depends on where you go. So you have to help us to help you by divulging some of this info. The GTA (Toronto) and most of the Golden Horseshoe are extremely expensive as are Vancouver and Victoria. But you do not need to go there to get a good education.
Many Canadian universities (like the country as a whole now) are very politically correct with a lot of pressure to comply with woke ideas. If this is your thing or you have no ideas of your own you have no problems. If you are an independent thinker pay attention to this aspect.
Hope this helps! All the best in your decision making, the importance of which can not be overstated.
