It should be easy enough to call up an English speaking medical clinic and ask what services they have.

First Med is one

Another is, SOS Doctors.hu

Just google Englsih speaking medical clinics in Budapest or wherever you are located.

I have no idea about their prices .

I couldn't tell you if your coverage from Portugal is excepted in none private doctors offices here or not.

You'd have to get a Hungarian speaker to call up for you and ask.

I had my husband give me shots in my stomach post shoulder surgery. He had to give himself shots in his stomach after a hernia operation. It's not that hard in a ,"pinch" but not everyone can get over sticking themselves.

It should be easy enough to do yourself once you are shown how it's done.

Thanks! I've reached to both of them, and got a reply just now from SOS. They charge 170 euros for one injection 1f606.svg

My God that's insane!

IDK anything about how each EU country handles health coverage between countries but perhaps you can find a medical clinic in the district you are in and go in and get some info or if you know a Hungarian that can help go in with you.

I thought there was some sort of treaty between EU countries as far as health care?

I know many doctors will see people not on the national health ,TAJ system if you pay cash for the visit.

170 Euros is way too much.

If you inject in the stomach it isn't too horrible to do yourself. An arm or leg wouldn't hurt too much. My husband gave his own shots because I'm too squimish. If it cost 170 Euros though, I'd learn to give my own shots.

It shouldn't be too hard to inject into a muscle. if it's in a vien , then IDK.

Good luck.
