Hello please note that I have created this new thread from your post on the Brazil forum so that members can guide you.

So, to which country will this money be sent ? Kenya ?

Yes kenya

@bechela31it is my understanding that to send money via ”pix” internationally, the sender must use a transfer service like “Wise”. If you go to their website it is explained. www.wise.com

l have never done this myself so l am only going by what l read

I hope this "wise" work.thank you

A lot of of people here on this forum use “Wise” to transfer funds from the USA to Brazil.

They are a legitimate company.

But as l said l don’t have any experience using it  with Pix to a another country

Okey

BRBC

I have used Wise to transfer from BRL to USD.  It took about 1 business day.  According to Wise's website they do support BRL->KES transfers.

Your friend will be able to transfer money to Wise using PIX, but your friend will not be able to directly PIX your bank outside of Brazil.  Your friend will need to setup an account on Wise to perform the transfer.  Your friend will need a Brazilian ID document and smart phone with a camera to setup the account, which is needed for the verification process.  Part of the sign up process involves taking a picture of the ID document, then a selfie, which are matched so Wise can verify the account is not fraudulent. You friend will also need your bank account details to set you up as a recipient of the funds.

Once the transfer is complete it will show up as a deposit in your bank account.
