One needs much more context to answer such a thing. One should start with, what skills do you have to offer? In general there are no “normal jobs” in English. There might be some unskilled jobs like cleaning, working in a slaughter house or in agriculture or stocking shelves in supermarkets for low pay; hard work that can be done without knowing much German.

But these are not the kind of jobs one can get a work visa for as a non-EU worker. The extra cost, effort and risk for an employer to recruit such a person, even if it would be allowed, are prohibitive. Such jobs will be given to people already living in Germany with a legal right to work. Any additionally needed unskilled laborers willing to work cheaply will be recruited from EU countries like Romania or Bulgaria or a couple of non-EU eastern European countries that have special labor agreements with Germany or the EU.

As Tom already mentioned above, there are no "common jobs for english speakers" in Germany. Not speaking German is a minus point for any job here, which you would have to make up for with something else (e.g. rare special skills), to have a chance.

As Tom alsomentioned, the most common job for non-German-speakers is lowly paid menial labour - but this is not open for those who need a work visa (which I assume you do).

On the other end of the scale, non-German-speaking specialists with applicable experience are sometimes hired in IT and high tech. You might also have a chance as researcher at university.

But there is basically nothing inbetween these two.
