Great Primary and Secondary Schools?

My family and I will be moving to Yorkshire within the next 12 months and I'd love to get some feedback about the schools.  I have and 8 year old and 4 year old.  I'm wondering if there are any particular towns or villages with great schools.  Any feedback will be most appreciated.  Thanks!

Yorkshire is a big place. Where in Yorkshire will you move to?

We're thinking of the Skipton at the moment.  North Yorkshire most likely.  Thanks!

Hello Vatoyorkshire,

I have little knowledge about it, through Google search am providing you a list of some schools in Skipton. These are:

Gargrave Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School
St Stephen's Catholic Primary School, Skipton
Skipton, Ings Community Primary and Nursery School
Skipton, Water Street Community Primary School
Embsay Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School
Brooklands School
Carleton Endowed School
Threshfield School

I think this might be helpful and also you can find on more on Google.

Best of luck!

Thanks for the info, I'll continue my online research. :-)

Good luck, vatoyorkshire!
All schools in Uk are regurarly inspected by Ofsted, so you can find the result of any school on the Oftsed website:
http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/inspection-rep … ion-report
I would also suggest upmystreet: http://www.upmystreet.com/
that gives you info about your neighbourhood, schools, house prices, et. All you have to do is to type the postcode of the area (easy to find with google maps), and you'll find out more than you can expect.
Again, good luck for your moving!
