Hi everyone, being a newbie to this forum I am keen to know peoples thoughts on where I could move to in Ireland. I have some preferences and have some initial thoughts but keen to get others. Essentially cost is a key driver and i will be looking to fix up and old detatched cottage or bungalow. It will need to have some land or big garden for the pets! Any thoughts? I'm flying out to Knock in a couple of weeks to start some more active looking. I suppose, above all else, it should be a friendly vibe to the place. I'm an Irish national but speak with an English accent!

Look for a place to rent, from there lots of viewings and a long process. I’m in the same one.
