What is the best credit card to get from Brazil?

Also does credit function similar to credit in the United States?

I have a Nu Bank account, but got denied for the credit card they offer.

Antonio, If your Nubank "conta corrente" is new it will take a bit for the credit card to become available. I started the same way and had to keep insisting and using it as a debit card until they finally saw that I had the financial profile that they look for to get credit. When I got credit it was small and, again, I kept pushing up my limit through heavy use of the card. I needed something that wasn't going to nickel and dime me to death like Banco do Brasil. I still could use a higher limit and maybe that'll change - I keep pushing/requesting.

I like Nubank. It is very simple and has no monthly fees.
