Amateur Radio licence/ Station

G0BAU

Hello all, I have had a read through a few posts but still have not been able to get the answer that I'm looking for.

I've been a class A (Full band privileges) uk licensed operator since 1985, as G0BAU, then A22SC then G0BAU/C6A and very competent in CW.

Question again is How do you go about getting an operators licence in the philippines. I live in Pampanga 5 months every year as I'm married to a Filipina and have property there , but I am wanting to re ignite the hobby in the Philippines 🇵🇭  as I have been off the air for about 20 years.

What is the fastest easiest route , and how long does this take to get a reciprical license against my UK class A license? As I am trying to resolve this before my next "long trip" .March 2024. However I am going back on a short trip July 2023 for 3 weeks so was hoping to push the paperwork through then.

Any help is highly appreciated from anyone who's achieved getting a reciprical licence through without too much hassle. 73 G0BAU

@G0BAUHi, your question is very specific and to a narrow niche. This is not a Amateur Radio Forum so I’m guessing it will be hard to find a Class A operator from UK who has achieved getting a reciprocal licensehere. But a quick and simple google search should lead you in the right direction to those who can give you a correct answer.Check here:https://n2rac.com/how-to-get-an-amateur-radio-license-in-the-philippines-part-3-reciprocal-permits-for-9bbd50ab6adchttps://www.para.org.ph/foreign-hams.html

@vehicross100 Many thanks for the reply. I'll have a look through that link you put up. I asked the question due to seeing a few posts relating to the subject .

Maybe there is a defined group subject on  the forum that might be able to point me into the direction I'm after . Thanks again
