Hi all my name is Natasha a lawyer from UK looking to make hijra to Algiers with my Algerian husband and 4yo child in'shaa Allah as the UK is becoming worse and worse with their ideologies and sexualising children...I would like to know if there are any English speaking Islamic schools in Algiers where  I can send my daughter.  Any advice will be much appreciated. 1f600.svg

@nat3000 Hi Natasha,

Regarding your question about Islamic schools and government schools in Algeria, it depends on what you mean by 'Islamic school.' In Algeria, government schools have an Islamic curriculum and uphold Islamic values. If you want your children to specifically focus on learning Islam and the Quran, you may consider registering them in a mosque or a learning hub dedicated to Islamic education.

However, if you are looking for an English curriculum school, there are a limited number of private schools that offer such programs in Algeria. It's important to note that government schools in Algeria are generally considered to provide better quality education. If you choose to enrol your children in a public school, they will have Muslim teachers and classmates.

Nevertheless, it is recommended to supervise your children and be aware of their surroundings, regardless of the school they attend. If you wish for your children to excel in Arabic, you might also consider hiring a private Arabic tutor as it is not expensive in Algeria to supplement their Arabic and join the government education.

Ultimately, the choice between Islamic, private, or government schools depends on your specific preferences the kid's age and educational goals for your children. If it was me I would consider a public school for primary children with a private Arabic tutor to perform the language and a nearby mosque to learn more about Islam and memorise Quraan. .I wish you all the best .
