Elementary Teacher - Full-time

Position Title: Elementary Teacher

Work Location: True North School – Lot TH-03, Mo Lao urban area, Ha Dong, Hanoi

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

1. Develop and implement teaching plans in alignment with the school's curriculum, work plan, and learning objectives.
2. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, learning activities, and assessment materials.
3. Develop and maintain assessment materials, including quizzes, tests, and question banks as required.
4. Deliver effective and engaging lessons and manage students to ensure a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
5. Monitor and assess students' learning progress and provide appropriate feedback and support.
6. Communicate with parents regarding students' learning progress, development, and support needs in accordance with school requirements.
7. Maintain accurate student records and update relevant information on the school's Learning Management System (LMS).
8. Participate in department meetings, professional development, training sessions, school activities, and other events as required.
9. Collaborate with colleagues and relevant departments to support students' learning and the effective implementation of school programs.
10. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

1. Bachelor's Degree in Education, preferably in Elementary Education. A Master's Degree in Education is a plus.
2. Proven experience teaching at an international primary/elementary school.
3. Strong knowledge of international curricula, accreditation standards, and best practices.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Strong commitment to child safeguarding, student well-being, and inclusive education.
