Doing deep dive into investing in Uruguay

ClarkForestryLLC

Hello.

Live in Iowa, US.  Have a second home in Belize where we do Teak Plantations.

Looking to invest in land to do Forestry.  But also, to enjoy the Southern Hemisphere weather and the beaches.

Will be buying inland and then possibly look for a home closer to the two cities.

If you could make some suggestions on the following.  This will give me some contacts to make my exploratory trip more useful.

Banks/lenders-

Attorneys/Immobilière's-

Realtors- more farm or forestry ground.

Thank you.

Henry Clark

Hello Henry,

Here is a link to a Realtor's farm listings. https://www.inmobiliariaterrasol.com/Bu … ,2&1=1

Transfer of title is expedited by a Notary aka Escribana. The fees on a purchase add up to about 9%

I don't know anything about banks except they expect the client to pay them for holding their money.

If you have a specific location, let me know and I'll see if I can find something.

If you are still around, we should talk.  I am relocating to Uruguay to start orchards.  I have been studying Uruguay for years.
