Needing medicina prepagada info!

Hi,

I am looking at medicina prepagada cover for myself when we move to Bogotá. I would be looking for cover just for myself but I will not be working initially (my husband will). From the info I can find I think I will need EPS through him because I am not earning, is it the same with prepagada? Also does anyone know whether you need to get prepagada through the same organisation as your EPS?

You can get Medicina prepagada without a Visa, just with a passport, at least I did.

I am only familiar with Coomeva. I hear Sura is the best, Coomeva has different levels , Plata , Oro and Gold plus , pay more for each, and have different benefits.

I am not aware of a family program with Coomeva prepagada. Myself and my partner have different separate programs.

With EPS, yes you can become a beneficio of your husbands program.

If your husband is working for an international corporation, they should take care of all this as well as the visas.
